This week on SciFi TV Rewatch we discuss the season two premiere titled “Mind on Fire.” In the aftermath of the incident with Bill Boone, Cleo, and Henry, Henry faces the realization that her life has irrevocably changed beyond anything she could imagine. But it’s not only Henry that must accept the ramifications of what’s happened. Jenna and Townes face their own demons, but it’s Henry’s dream sequence that raises the most questions.
In our What We're Watching segment, Dave binged the Netflix series The Stranger starring Killjoys alum Hannah John-Kamen and Anthony Head who portrayed Giles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. After Dave’s alert last week, Wayne is nearly caught up with the current season of The Magicians.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands explains why he prefers leaving feedback rather than soliciting it.

This week on SciFi TV Rewatch we discuss the rebound of Impulse after last week’s less than stellar offering. Separating the episode into three clearly dilineated sections works to great advantage, and Lucas’ grappling with the consequences of the murder of Amos Miller weighs heavy on both his soul and the episode itself.
In our What We're Watching segment, Dave’s been watching the Polish crime drama Ultraviolet which focuses on a group of citizens who solve crimes and assist the police using the internet and social media. Wayne continues working his way through the Cold War drama The Americans featuring Russian spies embedded into the fabric of everyday American life.

This week on SciFi TV Rewatch we discuss the episode’s failings which include shoddy dialogue, questionable character decisions, and a failure to significantly advance the overall plot. Still, we both like the addition of Henry’s former boyfriend Josh, and consider the first stages of Jenna’s exploration of her sexual identity.
In our What We're Watching segment, Dave’s five episodes into Netflix’s The Witcher and points out one of the more intriguing Netflix offerings that’s dropped in the past few weeks – the Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffatt interpretation of the Dracula tale. Not surprisingly, Wayne talks about the return of Doctor Who and gives the Series 12 premiere high marks.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands wonders how Josh’s introduction affects Henry’s attitude and whether Townes’ sister might play a role in Jenna’s search.
