This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we complete our look at the Stargate SG-1 pilot with “Children of the Gods Part 2.” With the four person SG-1 team now in place, Jackson’s theory that there are multiple pathways to the stars will be tested, and new relationships must now be forged. Apophis has taken Sha’re and Skaara into his fold, but his plan for Earth remains unclear. We consider the nude scene that appears on Dave’s DVD version but is absent on Wayne’s Amazon viewing.
In our What We're Watching segment, Dave is working way through the 2008 Hugo Award Winning novel titled The Three Body Problem by the Chinese science fiction writer Liu Cixin. Wayne finishes his Ozark run with mixed reactions but continues his high praise for the season finale of Lovecraft Country.

This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we address we begin our journey with a series based on the 1994 Roland Emmerich film Stargate. Like all pilots, “Children of the Gods Part 1” lays the groundwork for robust character development while introducing a series of plot threads. Can Col. O’Neil overcome his disdain for scientists and accept Capt. Samantha Carter as an equal member of the team? Will Daniel Jackson’s supposition that the gate may be part of a vast network across the universe turn out to be true? Time will tell.
In our What We're Watching segment, Dave gives a less than enthusiastic reading of Fox’s new series NeXt. Wayne has high praise for the finale of the Amazon series The Boys.

This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we address Patreon supporter Fred from the Netherland’s request that we continue our yearly visit with the quirky horror tale Hemlock Grove. Battlestar Galactica alums Kandyse McClure (Dr. Chasseur) and Aaron Douglas (Sheriff Sworn) find themselves at the center of an apex predator killing spree. Chasseur’s challenge of Peter sets the stage for the werewolf and his upir companion Roman to band together in the search for the creature responsible for the two deaths.
In our What We're Watching segment, Dave praises the series finale of The 100 and sheepishly admits to having binged Emily in Paris on Netflix. Wayne takes a more socially acceptable approach by continuing his relationship with Ozark.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands mentions the developing importance of Roman’s mother Olivia played by Dutch actress Famke Janssen.

This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss the season finale which explores the after effects of the Epsilon rebellion that John inadvertently starts. How much culpability does the savage enjoy in this matter, and how will he integrate into the new world that Lenina has been tasked to develop. Of course, the biggest mystery involves the box that Bernard and Helm take to the Savage Lands and how much control Indra still holds over both worlds.
In our What We're Watching segment, Dave reminds viewers that the Netflix horror series The Haunting of Bly Manor will drop on October 9, and Wayne has good things to say about the Emmy award winning series Ozark.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands wonders whether John really had any choice about whether or not to distance himself from the Epsilon rebellion.

This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss Bernard’s attempt to manipulate Lenina and John by asking her out on a date. This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss John and Lenina’s trip aboard the Epsilon train and her continued attempt to find another side of herself. Wayne points out the fight between John and Bernard does more to enhance Bernie’s street cred and a “Marx” may soon supplant the “Foster.” Do the writers focus too much on the sexual aspect of life in New London, and who are The 10? However, it’s the notion that we may be watching a simulation raises the most questions.
In our What We're Watching segment, Wayne relives his adolescence with a Cobra Kai, and Dave applauds the HBO Max model employed with Raised by Wolves.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands finishes up Biohackers and explains that its genetic science provides a measure of authenticity.

This week on SciFi TV Rewatch we discuss Lenina's continued journey of self-discovery and wonder whether her relationship with Henry Foster has run its course. Though Bernard has been tasked by Mustafa Mond to assist John as he finds his way in New London, it’s the savage who makes the most impact as he helps Bernard stand up for himself against the taunts of the new Director, Henry.
In our What We're Watching segment, Wayne touts the HBO Max series Lovecraft Country and its cultural importance. Dave begins the third and final season of The Rain and checks out the new German Netflix series BioHackers.

Does the Director truly want to help John by sending him away, or is his offer of a flivver merely a way to retain his own standing in the community?
In our What We're Watching segment, Wayne breaks down his Top 5 list of music biopics, and Dave binges the new season of Lucifer and finishes season one of Halt and Catch Fire.
