Join Dave and Wayne for genre television show news, a glimpse into what the hosts are currently watching, commentary and analysis of the Netflix series Tribes of Europa, and our listener feedback.
This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss the decisions made by the three siblings after the Atlantian craft crashes in their forest. From the start, the world building is outstanding, and information about the various post Black December tribes is gradually parcelled out. Yes, the pilot contains some narrative tropes, but the compelling characters and initial storylines are enough to compensate for any shortcomings.
In our What We're Watching segment, Wayne checks out Gunpowder Milkshake and elicits surprise that Dave loves it as much as he does. Once again, Dave implores listeners to give the Netflix fantasy crime drama Lucifer a shot as it prepares to air its sixth and final season.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands celebrates his birthday and brings his wife on board to begin watching Tribes of Europa.

This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss the impact Saxa’s encounter with Magne will have on the overall narrative. Laurits continues to play the wild card, and it’s the decision he makes about his serpent that creates the possibility of a new, compelling storyline. Has he aligned himself with the Jutuls, or are they simply biding their time before taking out Vidar’s bastard?a
In our What We're Watching segment, Wayne questions whether 2001 A Space Odyssey should be considered one of the best science fiction films of all time, and Dave sings the praises of the action film Gunpowder Milkshake starring Lena Heady and Karen Gillan.

This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss Magne’s decision to re-enter the fight against the giants and whether he’ll come to accept death as an inevitable part of the battle. We weren’t that surprised when Iman turned out to possess godlike powers, so is Magne’s crush Signy the next to join Team Thor? Still, Saxa and Laurits hold the keys to the human race’s future on Earth.
In our What We're Watching segment, Wayne completes his rewatch of the X-Men movies while Dave completes the second season of Biohackers.

Join Dave and Wayne for genre television show news, a glimpse into what the hosts are currently watching, commentary and analysis of the Netflix series Ragnarok, and our listener feedback.
This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss the role emotions play on both sides as Team Giant finds itself without a solid leader, and Team Thor must contend with Magne’s decision to drop out of the fight. On the other hand, it turns out that Iman is more than up to the task of taking on the giants, and the scene at the gym stands out as a series highlight. Still, it appears that Fjor and Laurits could either join forces or square off against each other. Time will tell.
In our What We're Watching segment, Wayne talks about revisiting the X-Men movies while Dave completes the final season of Atiye: The Gift and gets started with season 2 of the German Netflix series Biohackers.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands goes back to 2014 and his journey with the CBS science fiction series Extant starring Halle Berry and The Extant Podcast.

This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss the writers’ decision to kill off two main characters and the impact these deaths are likely to have on the main narrative. Now that the gods have revealed themselves, Magna’s task becomes somewhat easier, but how Laurits decides to enter the coming war proves the most difficult to predict.
In our What We're Watching segment, it turns out that we both watched the Amazon Video release of The Tomorrow War and agree that despite the criticism it’s received on the internet, it was still an enjoyable time travel movie. Wayne, however, is disappointed with The Handmaid’s Tale season finale, and Dave dives into the third season of Atiye: The Gift on Netflix.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands praises the CGI special effects but finds Laurits’ injection of Wotan’s blood a bit problematic. David Haworth checks in via the Facebook group and wonders whether Turid may be the elusive goddess Freya.

This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we examine the reveal surrounding Laurits’ biological father and the implications that he may, in fact, be Loki. However, all is not going smoothly for Team Giant as the family fabric disintegrates as Saxa and Ran do their best to hold things together.
In our What We're Watching segment, we agree that talking about the Netflix Icelandic series Katla should be something we address sooner rather than later.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands questions whether Laurits is setting Vidar up for a fall and points out that no one at the retirement home appears to notices Wenche’s death and subsequent disintegration.

This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we return to Netflix and the Norwegian fantasy series Ragnarok. Will Fjor and Gry’s relationship blossom or will an innocent human become collateral damage once the giants and Thor face off?
In our What We're Watching segment, both Dave and Wayne check out the new Icelandic Netflix series Katla, a scifi mystery that follows the inhabitants of a small town near a sub-glacial volcano.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands checks in with his weekly audio feedback and makes the observation that Laurits experiences some of the same emotional conflicts as Felix in Orphan Black.

This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss the four part episode “True” and its impact on the overall arc as the show heads into hiatus before concluding with six additional episodes. Now that Penance knows the truth about the event and Amalia’s true identity, the two must set out to prevent the eventual apocalyptic future that faces the Earth. Still, it’s Myrtle’s enigmatic presence that confounds us as we try to piece together the notion that Stripe did not come to 19th century London alone.
In our What We're Watching segment, Dave reminds listeners that the third and final season of The Netflix Turkish drama The Gift drops on June 17th.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands checks in with his weekly audio feedback, and Maureen shares her ideas about the mid-season finale.

Will Amalia and Penance be able to withstand the implications of the day’s events, and has Augie placed his relationship with Miss Adair in jeopardy?
In our What We're Watching segment, Dave has apparently abandoned Da Vinci’s Demons on Starz but watched the entire eight episode crime drama The Dublin Murders on the same network. This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss the latest reveal that Amalia may, in fact, be from another timeline, and the body she inhabits may not be her own. However, it’s Myrtle’s deciphering the message hidden in Mary’s son that has the most emotional impact as Amalia learns that she’s not as alone as she fears. Though all signs point to Lord Massen as the man behind Mary’s murder, it’s still not clear if someone’s influencing him.
In our What We're Watching segment, Dave started watching Da Vinci’s Demons on Starz, and Wayne goes back even further in time with Sky Studio’s Britannia now streaming on Amazon.
