Wayne's been on me to do a zombie show for six months or so, and the time was finally right. Who would have thought you could blend a romantic comedy with zombies? In contrast, 28 Days Later provides a much darker look at one of the most popular apocalypse scenarios. Regardless, even if you're not a zombie fan, these two films might have you reevaluating your stance.

Wayne and Dave take a look at one of the most intriguing scifi television shows to come along in quite a while. BBC America's Orphan Black starring Tatiana Maslany explores the practical and ethical considerations surrounding human cloning. Who's your favorite clone? Oh right. First rule of clone club; you don't use the C word.

Except for the Centurions, everybody at least looks human in BSG. But Farscape truly explores the outer reaches of space, in this scifi space opera that injects humor far more often than Battlestar, and Crichtonisms and his nicknames often highlight an episode. 

In this the first of our new mini-casts, Dave takes a look at a genre series missed the first time around. Now recognized by many critics as the top scifi television series of all time, Battlestar Galactica set the bar incredibly high.

Wayne, Dave, and special guest Sally take a look at the development of the "doctor to the fae," Lauren Lewis aka Karen Beattie. Doctor, scientist, hero, lover; few characters in the Lost Girl universe engender as much interest as the blonde half of the Doccubus relationship.

Dave and Wayne examine the Blood King's transition from simple barkeep in the early episodes to a tortured soul in constant turmoil because of the power he wields. The S07E13 finale of Doctor Who raises just as many questions as it provides answers. Six months after broaching the subject, Dave and Wayne finally discuss the pilot episode of the BBC's supernatural show Being Human. Throw in a little Lost Girl chit chat, and the guys are rolling again even though the season 4 premiere is likely over six months away in Canada and close to a year in the US.
