We never learn the cause, and the hero fails to find a cure or vaccine, but the technical aspects of the film are spectacular. Mireille Enos, from The Killing stars as Pitt's wife, and Peter Capaldi, set to star as the 12th Doctor, round out the cast.

Sam Raimi's cult classic hit the theaters in 1987 and gave the director his entrance into the major movie industry. One of the first comedy-horror films, Evil Dead 2 also provided a break for Bruce Campbell, who's had recurring roles in Xena and Hercules, but a major role in USA Network's Burn Notice. Though Dave and Wayne frequently disagree, it's fair to say they were on polar opposite ends of the spectrum on this one.
