Episode 62 Lost Girl S04E13 Dark Horse

In the season 4 finale, finally able to find her destiny within the fae community, Kenzi makes the ultimate sacrifice for Bo. Or does she? Tamsin seems to be absolved of her past sins, and we await her future choices. And what is up with Bo and Dyson? Is Doccubus finished?

Episode 61 S04E12 Origin

Kenzi seeks revenge for Hale's death, Lauren gets down and dirty with Evony, a warrior appears ready to defend Bo, and Massimo chows down on the Origin Seed. Some revelations about Vex catch the guys off guard, but it appears we'll be dealing in death for the foreseeable future.

Episode 60 S04E10-11 Waves/End of a Line

Ordinarily, I'd be all over a tale about mermaids, but the only redeeming grace here is that the story brings Lauren, Dyson and Kenzi closer together as Bo shuts them out to be with Rainer. Arguably, the most poignant scene in the entire series occurs as Kenzi's heart is shattered when the love of her life dies, due in part to her own hubris.

Episode 59 S04E09 Destiny's Child

Bo and the audience finally meet The Wanderer, and let's just say, we didn't see that coming. However, the actions of a certain human, no matter how well intended will have to be dealt with, but do we have a new romantic duo in the picture? 

Episode 58 S04E07-08 La Fae Epoque/Groundhog Fae

Caught in a quantam loop, Dave and Wayne finally emerge to take a look at the two most recent episodes, both of which rely heavily on literary, historical and cultural allusions. While we don't learn much more about The Wanderer, Lauren aka Flora and Dyson bridge the vast gulf that had pushed them away from each other. Have Hale and Kenzi finally consummated their love?

Episode 57 S04E06 Of All The Gin Joints

While there's minimal movement on Bo's bloodline story arc, an emphasis on duos appears in this episode. Lauren's moving in with her Dark pals, and The Morrigan lets her know that she'll have complete freedom to conduct whatever research she choose and will have no movement restrictions placed on her. After five years with the Light, Lauren's understandably skeptical, but the skeptics finally received some satisfaction when Kenzi and Hale take the first relationship step. She wears his hat.

Episode 56 S04E05 Let the Dark Times Roll

Before getting to the episode discussion, Dave gives up on Once Upon a Time, and Wayne implies he may be doing the same with Percy Jackson. In this Dark Fae centric episode, the Una Mens background comes more into focus, and Trick's link to them raises more questions than answers. Are Tamsin and Kenzi the new Dynamic Duo? Will Bo and Lauren resume their relationship, or will their differing political philosophies drive a wedge between them?

Episode 55 S04E04 Turn to Stone

Bo is back, bitches, and she's taking no prisoners. However, the Una Mens end the evening's proceedings with a rather disconcerting revelation. In between Lauren and Tamsin take giant steps forward while Kenzi's regressed to a character full of self-pity and regret. Dave and Wayne actually agree on most of the major plot points, and the guys make three Doctor Who references that are totally salient.

After nearly 1,000 episodes, 11, or is it 12, or 13 Doctors, companions too many to count, and the omnipresent Daleks, Doctor Who just celebrated 50 years of wondrous adventures throughout the known and unknown universe. It truly is one of a kind.
