Join Dave and Wayne for genre television show news, a glimpse into what the hosts are currently watching, commentary and analysis of Fringe, and our listener feedback.  This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss the standalone episode that follows the possible introduction of a multiverse story arc, and even though it’s a well crafted chapter, it’s a bit disappointing that the only push forward involves the possibility that the boy is an Observer. In our What We're Watching segment, Wayne gets excited about season 4 of Ozark on Netflix and the first season of the HBOMax offering Our Flag Means Death, while Dave is lukewarm about the Netflix post-apocalyptic film Black Crab. Oh yeah, he gives a thumbs up to the erotic thriller series Dark Desire.  In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands wonders why the boy never sent out distress messages before now.  Remember to join the genre television and film discussion on the SciFi TV Rewatch Facebook group for the latest genre television show news and podcast releases. More importantly, we discuss the role it appears Olivia might play in this coming conflict.  In our What We're Watching segment, Wayne completes The Last Kingdom and looks forward to the feature film that will conclude the series. Dave binges season 4 of Formula 1: Drive to Survive on Netflix. In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands notices the use of the number 47 and ties it into Star Trek.  Remember to join the genre television and film discussion on the SciFi TV Rewatch Facebook group for the latest genre television show news and podcast releases. Join Dave and Wayne for genre television show news, a glimpse into what the hosts are currently watching, commentary and analysis of Fringe, and our listener feedback.  This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we find it difficult to praise this episode of Fringe, but Walter’s willingness to meet with the mother of the girl who died in the lab fire 17 years ago stands as a highlight. There are simply too many weak plot details to grade this standalone above a B.  In our What We're Watching segment, Wayne gives high praise to the first season of Vikings: Valhalla, and Dave, once again, talks about the Paul Giamatti series Billions currently airing on Showtime.  In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands mentions a few Really? moments of his own. This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss why Mitchell Loeb assumes Olivia knows about the details of the two unnamed warring factions, and why he extracts her spinal fluid during the abduction. We also give kudos to the two fight sequences featuring Anna Torv and love her reaction to the near miss at the hand of Samantha Loeb. In our What We're Watching segment, Wayne checks in with three films and gives two thumbs up and one down. Dave sheepishly admits to having watched the Netflix docudrama Inventing Anna.  In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands points out a continuity error in the hospital scene with Olivia. In our What We're Watching segment, Dave and Wayne discover that the second season of Beforeigners actually dropped in December and somehow avoid radar detection. Join Dave and Wayne for genre television show news, a glimpse into what the hosts are currently watching, commentary and analysis of Fringe, and our listener feedback.  This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss a standalone episode that brings Olivia face to face with the John Scott issue and the dichotomy she faces between wanting to get his consciousness out of her head and acting on the leads she receives. In our What We're Watching segment, Wayne lets it be known that he is unapologetically a Star Wars fanboy, and no matter a series or film’s weaknesses, he’s likely to be all in. Dave calls it quits on the Netflix scifi/horror series Archive 81. In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands wonders about Olivia’s conflicting desires to have John Scott’s memories removed from her consciousness while at the same time using them to solve cases.
