Join Dave and Wayne for genre television show news, a glimpse into what the hosts are currently watching, commentary and analysis of Outer Range, and our listener feedback.
This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we announce our decision to cover the Prime Video series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power when it releases in September. Tonight’s episode discussion centers on Autumn’s role moving forward and the bombshell reveal that Royal has known about time travel all along. Do we now have an answer to the question of the Abbott ranch ownership in the future?
In our What We're Watching segment, Dave begins season three of Manifest and gets to episode three of Westworld. Wayne finishes his rewatch of The Clone Wars.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands acknowledges The Netherlands’ role in the world economy, and Cindy checks in via the Facebook group with a theory about Autumn’s origin.

Join Dave and Wayne for genre television show news, a glimpse into what the hosts are currently watching, commentary and analysis of Outer Range, and our listener feedback.
This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss whether Royal tries to kill Autumn and if so why. The number of people who know about the void increases as Autumn shows it to Billy and strikes up a relationship that may offset her conflicts with Royal and the Abbotts.
In our What We're Watching segment, Wayne suggests checking out the scifi film Archive that explores developing AI. Dave finally gets around to watching the 2002 classic Minority Report.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands wonders whether Wayne’s decision to leave everything to Billy is an act of aggression. Scott checks in and compares Sheriff Joy’s dilemma with Chief Brody in Jaws and Chief Hopper in Stranger Things.

This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss the pivotal opening scene that seems to show a 9 year old Royal climbing out of the void as young Wayne Tillerson watches from the hole’s edge. After crushing Autumn’s necklace in a vise, it appears Royal actually witnesses his own death.
In our What We're Watching segment, Dave nears the end of season two of Manifest, and Wayne rewatches The Fantastic Beasts movies.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands wonders how Dave finds the Dutch language as he and his wife watch The Adulterer.

This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss Sheriff Joy’s march towards prominence and the mysterious relationship between Royal Abbott and Wayne Tillerson. Though it seems clear the mountain and void are related, Wayne’s rock provides a fascinating third piece to the puzzle.
In our What We're Watching segment, Dave continues to work his way through Manifest and is now in season two. Wayne completes his run with Peaky Blinders and looks forward to its upcoming movie.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands finds it disappointing that Royal continues to shut out his wife. Scott wonders whether Wayne uses Back to the Future as a model for his behavioral model.

Friday Jul 08, 2022

Join Dave and Wayne for genre television show news, a glimpse into what the hosts are currently watching, commentary and analysis of Outer Range, and our listener feedback.
This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss more possibilities concerning Autumn and her connection to the Abbott family. While it appears the handshake between Royal and Autumn coincides with the appearance of Trevor’s dead body and the disappearance of the mountains, virtually everything remains a mystery at this point. Last week Dave surmised Autumn could be adult Amy, and this week Wayne suggests that possibility that she could be Royal’s younger sister.
In our What We're Watching segment, Dave begins season 4 of Westworld without the benefit of a rewatch, and Wayne returns to the current season of The Boys.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands gives this episode a B grade and like the hosts wonder about the significance of the handshake.

Join Dave and Wayne for genre television show news, a glimpse into what the hosts are currently watching, commentary and analysis of Outer Range, and our listener feedback.
This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss the connections Autumn Rivers has to the Abbott ranch, and Dave throws out his crackpot theory about her origin. Wayne examines connections between Royal’s journey and that of Hamlet as both descend into their individual rabbit holes.
In our What We're Watching segment, in honor of the podcast’s 10 year anniversary, we take a trip down memory lane and replay SFTVR’s history.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands apparently agrees with Dave (to a point) about Autumn’s familial connection, and Scott wonders whether Royal and the others find themselves in a time loop.

Join Dave and Wayne for genre television show news, a glimpse into what the hosts are currently watching, commentary and analysis of Outer Range, and our listener feedback.
This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss the series premiere of the Prime Video Original series Outer Range starring Lily Taylor and Josh Brolin as the Abbott family comes to terms with the missing Rebecca and Royal’s discovery of a mysterious hole in his west pasture. While it seems clear that the hole may facilitate time travel, it’s equally possible that a multiverse could be at play.
In our What We're Watching segment, Wayne takes his son’s recommendation and checks out The Boys Presents: DIabolical. Dave continues to methodically work his way through season one of Manifest.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands begins our journey with Outer Range feeling a bit underwhelmed.

This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss the season two finale that opens with a drastic paradigm shift into an alternate dystopian world that finds Olaf as king and the Volva as his queen. Of course, it’s the blockbuster news that Lars’ relationship with Ingrid and Alfhildr is about to radically change that sets the tone for the third season.
In our What We're Watching segment, we take a break this week because of the lengthier discussion of the season finale episode.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands mentions Warrior Nun as a possible series for the podcast to cover.

In our What We're Watching segment, Dave’s choice aligns with Fred’s as he checks out Sidsee Babbet Knudsen (Westworld/Theresa Cullen) who returns for a fourth season in the Danish political thriller Borgen. Wayne gets together with his family to watch the fourth season of Stranger Things.
