Join Dave and Wayne for genre television show news, a glimpse into what the hosts are currently watching, and commentary and analysis of the Netflix series 1899.
This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss the series premiere of a show that promises to be every bit as mind-bending as its predecessor Dark. Series creators Jantje Friese and Baran bo Odar begin the tale of the missing ocean liner Prometheus, its sister ship Kerberos, and the passengers who all seem to be running from something. Who is the young boy found alive on Prometheus, and is there a connection with the man who climbs out of the sea to board Kerberos?
In our What We're Watching segment, Wayne praises Star Trek: Discovery, and Dave makes a troubling confession that he’s gotten caught up in TikTok videos.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands seems less than enthusiastic about the 1899 pilot, and Ben Mason checks in via the Facebook group with questions about the finale of The Peripheral.

Has Conner followed through with Flynne’s plan to save their home world? Has Jasper acted totally out of character, and will Tommy take over the sheriff’s department?
In our What We're Watching segment, we discuss an article in The Atlantic that examines whether or not 2001: A Space Odyssey truly deserves its place as a science fiction movie classic.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands questions Jasper’s decision to park his SUV on the train tracks, and Joe from Cincinnati seems less than enthusiastic about the finale.

This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss whether Inspector Lowbeer and the Metropolitan Police might align themselves with Lev in taking down, or at least keeping in check, the Research Institute. Is it a good idea for Conner to leave 2032 behind for a new body in the future?
In our What We're Watching segment, Wayne feels that Titans has gone completely off the rails. Dave finishes S2 of Warrior Nun and recommends the HBOMax series White Lotus.

It's been awhile since we published an episode of Take Five, but we want to share our thoughts about the House of the Dragon season one finale and its shocking ending. Is the outcome of the aerial combat between Jace and Aemond the result of a tragic accident or the deliberate attempt to remove one combatant from the war that looms over the horizon?

This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast Michael Ahr joins us as we discuss the near perfect pilot episode of the Prime Video interpretation of William Gibson’s cyberpunk novel. We acknowledge that it’s probably not fair to make too many Westworld allusions, but the out of order timeline does cause some narrative issues as well as inject storytelling possibilities.
In our What We're Watching segment, Michael fills us in on his current projects at Den of Geek.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands draws some comparison between Flynne and Henry in Impulse.
