Through a series of flashbacks, we learn the backstory of Caroline's relationship with Bennett Halverson (Summer Glau), and their attempt to bring down the Dollhouse. However, in arguably the series' biggest reveal, the identity of the \"man behind the curtain\" finally becomes known.
