Join Dave and Wayne for genre television show news, a glimpse into what the hosts are currently watching, commentary and analysis of the HBOMax series Beforeigners, and our listener feedback.
This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss the revelation that time travel does indeed go both ways. However, it’s Tore Hund’s admission to Alfhildr that as a child she was fished from the sea and raised by his father. In the visual flashback we see her wearing a bright orange life preserver, clearly an item from the 21st century. Will the return of Olav the Stout mark the beginning of a religious culture war, and what role will Madeleine play in the future of Norway?
In our What We're Watching segment, Dave alerts listeners to the return of the Netflix fantasy series Lucifer which is set to drop on May 28th. Wayne spends time with Attack the Block, a 2011 film starring Doctor Who’s Jodie Whittaker.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands wonders whether Alfhildr’s parents could still be alive in the 21st century.

This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss the significance of the 19th century hacker/ninja woman who takes down Navn and breaks into Alfhildr’s computer. However, it’s Urd and Alfhildr’s acknowledgement that Tore Hund is alive and well in the present that proves the most compelling as we wait to see if they put the raiding, pillaging band back together.
In our What We're Watching segment, Wayne checks out the Netflix film La Revolution and the little known Nic Cage project Next. Dave talks about the Netflix series The Serpent starring Jenna Coleman and the HBOMax show The Missing.

This week on the SciFi TV Rewatch podcast we discuss the consequences of Alfhidr's shieldmaiden past and her ability to successfully navigate the intricacies of 21st century life. How much of our disbelief should we be required to suspend relative to Navn’s ability to put together a complex crime syndicate? Wayne offers up another edition of Project X and looks at some of the historical details pertinent to the episode.
In our What We're Watching segment, Dave speaks highly of the UK detective series DCI Banks and less so of his experience with The Lost Pirate Kingdom. Wayne sings the praises of the Japanese thriller Alice in Borderland.
