Join Dave and Wayne for genre television show news, a glimpse into what the hosts are currently watching, commentary and analysis of NBC Peacock’s Brave New World, and our listener feedback.
This week on SciFi TV Rewatch we discuss the reintegration of Bernard and Lenina into the social body and the actions each takes as a result of the experiences in the Savage Lands. Does the Director truly want to help John by sending him away, or is his offer of a flivver merely a way to retain his own standing in the community?
In our What We're Watching segment, Wayne breaks down his Top 5 list of music biopics, and Dave binges the new season of Lucifer and finishes season one of Halt and Catch Fire.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands wonders whether we can see Old London in the landscape and whether anyone still lives there.

This week on SciFi TV Rewatch we discuss Bernard and Lenina’s reaction to Sheila’s revolution and the rapid transformation of Linda once she recognizes there’s a way for her to return to New London. However, upon their return, Bernard appears unchanged by his experiences while Lenina asks the most basic of questions: “what now?”

Join Dave and Wayne for genre television show news, a glimpse into what the hosts are currently watching, commentary and analysis for the pilot of NBC Peacock’s Brave New World, and our listener feedback.
This week on SciFi TV Rewatch we discuss the series premiere of NBC Peacock’s Brave New World. While it’s difficult to completely divorce ourselves from Huxley’s novel, we judge the show on its own merits as an independent entity that is “influenced by” the classic 1932 dystopian work.
In our What We're Watching segment, Dave completes Simon Barry’s latest offering Warrior Nun, and even though he’s fairly satisfied with the current season of Marvel Agents of SHIELD, whether Fitz ever returns doesn’t matter to him any more. Caught a bit off guard by Norsemen’s third season, Wayne, nonetheless, is on board with the narrative paradigm shift.
In Listener Feedback, Fred from the Netherlands wonders whether the writers of NBC Peacock’s Brave New World will draw from previous attempts to bring Huxley’s novel to the small screen.
